What Makes Copper Gables Barn Ideal for Community Events

Community events need more than just space. Year-Round Indoor Venue

The barn is fully heated and air-conditioned, which means your fundraiser, performance, or yoga session happens regardless of the weather. Roy's climate varies significantly across seasons, and outdoor-dependent venues force cancellations or uncomfortable conditions.

The interior accommodates up to 200 guests comfortably indoors. Indoor restrooms for men and women, WiFi throughout the space, and ample free parking onsite handle practical requirements. The 800 square foot covered deck extends usable space when the weather cooperates, and the landscaped outdoor courtyard with its antique French fountain, roses, and wisteria offers a gathering spot, but your event isn't dependent on outdoor conditions.

Flexible Configurations for Different Community Needs

We configure the barn based on your event size and type. For smaller community events like yoga sessions, intimate performances, or local meetings, we offer the lower floor, back deck, and outdoor areas with built-in farmhouse tables and bench seating for up to 100 guests. You'll have access to the catering kitchen, great room with stone fireplace, gift tables, wine barrels, and a large banquet table. These events run a maximum of 6 hours, including setup and cleanup, and are scheduled between 10 am and 7 pm.

For larger events like fundraisers, galas, rodeos, barn dances, or bigger performances and concerts, we open both floors along with the back deck and outdoor areas. This configuration accommodates up to 200 guests with 16 round tables with linens, 8 farmhouse tables, banquet tables, and wooden cross-back chairs. Setup and cleanup provided. These events require a 10 hour minimum and must be scheduled between 10 am and 11 pm. This package cannot be used for wedding ceremonies or receptions.

Built-In Infrastructure

The built-in bar area and stage with lighting support the range of events Roy's community needs. The large wooden dance floor has been hosting Roy celebrations since the rodeo days. The Bluetooth enabled jukebox and portable speaker with a microphone give event organizers audio flexibility for background music, announcements, or live performances.

The catering kitchen includes refrigerators, a chest freezer, a double oven, and dual sinks, supporting community events that include meals or refreshments. The vintage painted buffets and decorative wine barrels add character while providing functional serving areas.

Proven Track Record

We've hosted community gatherings, including the Vintage Market at the Rodeo, Barn Bash Country Dance, and Beer & Barn Yoga. These gatherings strengthen community connections and honor local traditions. When you book the barn for your community event, you're joining a tradition of gatherings that dates back decades.
